10.2: Electrofluidic Displays: Multi-stability and Display Technology Progress

Electrofluidic displays have been demonstrated with multi‐stable states that enable on, off, or grey‐scaled pixel states with zero holding power. We demonstrate operating principles and characterize optical, electrical and environmental performance. We also report other electrofluidic developments i...

Description
Summary:Electrofluidic displays have been demonstrated with multi‐stable states that enable on, off, or grey‐scaled pixel states with zero holding power. We demonstrate operating principles and characterize optical, electrical and environmental performance. We also report other electrofluidic developments including device operation from − 30°C to 70 °C and 30 millisecond switching speeds at 25°C.
