Summary:Color dispersion of a polymer‐stabilized blue phase liquid crystal (BPLC) is investigated. The measured Kerr constant decreases as the wavelength increases. The VT curves of an IPS‐based BP‐LCD are similar to those of a vertical‐aligned nematic cell. This dispersion property is important for adjusting the RGB gamma settings.
