APPLICATION OF THE ELECTROMIGRATION TECHNIQUE FOR MEASURING LIGAND EXCHANGE EQUILIBRIA IN NON-AQUEOUS SOLUTIONS

The horizontal zone electromigration in electrolyte solutions allows the characterization of ligand exchange equilibria of radioactive ions in tracer concentration by measuring their ion mobility in dependence on the ligand concentrations. Description
Summary:The horizontal zone electromigration in electrolyte solutions allows the characterization of ligand exchange equilibria of radioactive ions in tracer concentration by measuring their ion mobility in dependence on the ligand concentrations. In this work stabilities of complexes between /211At/At(I) and organic, P-, S- and Se-containing ligands were determined using ligand exchange reactions in non-aqueous solutions.
