Description
Summary:The sulfur-33 NMR spectra of thirteen kinds of benzene-sulfonates have been obtained. The relationship between the spectral features and the unusually large non-additivity of C-13 NMR chemical shifts is discussed. Theoretical interpretations for the relative line widths of the spectra are given. Spectral features of a number of sulfates are also obtained. Quantification of isomers of naphtha-lenesulfonates has been carried out with the relative error less than 10%. The results give both the method how to get better spectra, and the understanding the intrinsic line broadening.
