Hand gesture recognition is a natural alternative to interact with computer as compared to mechanical devices(mouse, keyboard, etc),just as we interact with other humans through hand gestures. We review the existing tools and techniques that make hand gesture possible today, along with some common pitfalls and potential fixes.
