Summary:Comparative descriptions and keys are given for larvae and pupae of 4 species of Mocis Hübner, all of which are pests of pasture and turf grasses in Florida. Length and shape of anal setae separate M. latipes Guenée and M. disseverans Walker from M. marcida Guenée and M. texana Morrison. No characters of larvae or pupae were found to separate M. latipes from M. disseverans; and M. marcida from M. texana.
