Summary:This is a faunal summary of the plant associated phytoseiids of El Salvador in which Typhlodromips benavidesi Denmark and Andrews, new species, and Cocoseius elsalvador Denmark and Andrews, new genus and species, are described. Twelve other species are recorded from El Salvador for the first time, bringing the total reported from that country to 21 species. /// Phytoseiidae de El Salvador, Central America. Se presenta un resumen de la distribución de los phytoseiidos de El Salvador con la descripción de un género nuevo, Cocoseius y de dos especies nuevas, Typhlodromips benavidesi, Cocoseius elsalvador. Se citan doce especies por primera vez en El Salvador, ésto aumentando el número de especies a veinte.
