Radioprotective Effect of Sodium Fluoroacetate in Mice

The protective effect of FAc, however, requires much smaller doses (50-75 μmoles/kg). At the same time the duration of protection after FAc administration is much longer, lasting roughly from 30 minutes to 7 hours after the application of the substance, with maximum protection between the first and second hour.
