Orphaned Pronghorns Survive
Two marked sibling pronghorn (Antilocapra americana) kids orphaned in July at age 7 weeks survived at least until the following February. Seven kids were observed grazing actively at 3 to 7 weeks of age. These and other supporting observations indicate that kids may survive their mother's death...
