description | Objective: The objective of this study is to present the importance of technological innovations in the construction sector, detailing some tools and devices that can be used, aiming to show how the adoption of new technologies can reduce costs and promote sustainable practices. Theoretical Framework: The study highlights research and authors focused on technological innovation and sustainability in construction, providing a solid foundation for understanding the opportunities and challenges faced by the sector in adopting modern technologies. Method: The methodology adopted for this research comprises a bibliographic study, based on academic and electronic sources addressing technological innovations in construction. Results and Discussion: The results highlight the urgent need for modernization in Brazilian construction, showing the positive impact of technology adoption on cost reduction and sustainability. The discussion addresses resistance to innovation and the benefits for companies that adopt technologies, as well as limitations within the sector. Research Implications: The practical and theoretical implications include applications for companies and public policies that encourage innovation and sustainability, promoting greater competitiveness in the sector. Originality/Value: This study demonstrates the relevance of technological innovations in construction, a sector essential to the economy but resistant to change. It highlights how emerging technologies can improve efficiency and sustainability in Brazil. |
