Summary:In this short study, an analysis of the position of women's entrepreneurship in the field of organic food production in Serbia was performed, with an indication of the general relationship in employment and permanent gender inequality, both in our country and in the world. Considering digitalization and automation in many spheres of life in the modern world, a review of trends and competitiveness of women in the labor market is given and the analysis of data provided by the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water of the Republic of Serbia (Annual Reports) shows the number of female entrepreneurs in organic production as a promising branch of economy, with an overview of all aspects that have slowed down, reduced, or prevented better results in this area.
