Description
Summary:Silver nanoparticles stabilized with 6,6-ionene are synthesized by reducing silver nitrate with sodium borohydride. The obtained nanoparticles are characterized via spectrophotometry and transmission electron microscopy. The ability of their using for the spectrophotometric detection of sulfates is shown. The detection technique is based on the aggregation of the particles in the presence of sulfates, which leads to a change in the optical characteristics. The features of the aggregation of nanoparticles are studied depending on the interaction time, the acidity of the solution, the concentration of nanoparticles, and sulfates.
