Summary: | A computation procedure for heating a wire is well known. However, the application of this procedure for carbon filaments being used as heating elements requires that certain corrections be made, because carbon filaments differ from a wire in their physical properties. Research performed allowing for these features enabled us to improve the computation procedure for heaters and obtain calculated data which were in good agreement with experimental data. Results of the work could be interesting for a great circle of specialists developing woven heaters. |
