Description
Summary:To make a case for using electromagnetic suspension in vertical axial wind-driven generators, approximate evaluations of main design parameters of electromagnetic bearings of the wind-driven generator and their proper power consumption level are made. The functionality of the electromagnetic suspension is proven by calculations of dynamic modes of wind rotors of different types under nonstationary wind load.
