Specific Features of Magnetooptical Fluorescence Spectra for the Absorption of Polarized Radiation in the Transition to the Second Resonance Level in Alkali Metal Atoms

The role of additional channels for the decay of an excited level during the formation of coherent states to the ground level in alkali metal atoms interacting with polarized radiation is theoretically studied. Description
Summary:The role of additional channels for the decay of an excited level during the formation of coherent states to the ground level in alkali metal atoms interacting with polarized radiation is theoretically studied. It is shown by calculations for the K atom that these coherent states can not be completely destructed due to additional decay channels.
