Description
Summary:The importance of sustainability has become one of the major priorities in the field of construction with 40% of total energy worldwide while account for 25% of carbon dioxide emissions are due to buildings. thus, the implementation of sustainability along with use of building information modelling (BIM) tools are employed in this research to perform energy analysis on buildings using various sustainable materials. the results showed that the incorporation of sustainable materials with low thermal conductivity could reduce the indoor air temperature by 8 ºC and the overall electricity consumption by 30% and carbon emission from 15% to 48% while lowering construction costs.
