Summary: | Mobility is among the most prominent topics in the human and social sciences in recent years — which raises educational and communication issues about how young people see themselves in it all and how they’re affected by their social and cultural interactions, learning, and resources. This article has a double purpose: to conceptualize the mobility of young people via a literature review to create a dialogue between social geography and information and communication science, and to assemble the ingredients for a discussion on the role of literacy in day-to-day youth mobility based on the results of ethnographic studies. |
