A study on the health of the Olifants River as reflected by the aquatic macro-invertebrate biodiversity and selected abiotic factors

Aquatic macro-invetrebrates and selected abiotic factors were used to evaluate the river health. Preliminary results indicate that the ecological categories of the study sites vary from natural to critically modified and that the Target Water Quality Range is hardly ever met.
