Summary: | We report the rare case of a 36-year-old female with complaints of unilateral facial weakness and hearing loss with clinical, imaging, and intraoperative findings suggestive of facial nerve schwannoma, but the postoperative histopathology report was consistent with paraganglioma (PGL). After a primary excision, the patients developed recurrence and was accordingly managed by surgical excision again. |
