Summary:The objective of this study was to determine waste management practices influencing the operational performance of hotels in Lagos State, Nigeria using 120 structured questionnaire that was administered to 20 hotels. Results showed that waste management practices in hotels are very important (3.83), while levels of their operational performance is to a large extent (3.16). Linear Regression showed that waste reduction, reuse and recycling practices (β = 0.383), waste collection and depositing practices (β = 0.413) and waste composting and treatment practices (β = 0.258) significantly (p
