Summary:This study investigate the impact of government expenditure on inflation and economic growth in Nigeria from 1989 to 2021. Annual time series data obtained from Central Bank of Nigeria statistical bulletin were used for the study. Data gathered were analyzed with Ordinary Least Square (OLS) technique. Empirical result obtained from the study revealed that government expenditure and inflation have positive and significant impact on economic growth in Nigeria. The study recommends that government should increase expenditure on health and transfer and adopt one digit inflation rate to enhance economic growth in Nigeria.
