Description
Summary:In this paper, we successfully prepared magnetic modified chitosan composites by mixing hydroxyapatite with polypropylene glycol modified chitosan and wrapping magnetic nanoparticles. The adsorption study of Cr(VI) revealed that the adsorption process was more in accordance with the pseudo-second-order kinetic and followed the Langmuir isotherm adsorption process, which indicated that the adsorption process was monolayer adsorption, and the fitted calculations showed that the maximum adsorption capacity of Cr(VI) was 795.14 mg·g–1. Thermodynamic model reflected that the adsorption process was spontaneous heat absorption.
