Summary: | We show that the L1-norm minimization procedure used in seismic signal processing is also useful for the image reconstruction of point-targets. We applied this procedure to the holographic images of the point-targets, which typically have a diffraction limited resolution of a few wavelengths. Minimizing the L1-norm of real and imaginary parts of the images of complex number in the region of interest, we obtained superresolved images whose resolution was, in principle, determined only by the pixel spacing (
e.g.
, a tenth part of one wavelength). We performed the L1-norm minimization with a linear programming of a modified simplex method. |
