Summary: | The web has become a huge worldwide video catalog covering numerous topics. Taken that current situation into account and with the aim to be rigorous is nowadays needed to provide tools to assess those resources based on academic criteria. The study carried out shows the selection process for an educational video catalog in the field of mathematics for secondary levels. The catalog comes from the more often web-Server used by the students: YouTube. To obtain this catalog, we follow some steps, judgment of experts, Cronbach Alpha and on a preliminary pilot study. Once checked the reliability of the questionnaire it was used to assess the YouTube video-repository. The conclusions show the existence of common characteristics within these high quality videos. |
