Methods: It is a simple descriptive research with a quantitative approach. There were 40 nurses participating. Data collection was carried out from June to July 2015, and then analyzed with the Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS) version 20.0. Results: 72.5% were female and 27.5% were male, 40% were in the age group from 36 to 45 years old, and 52.5% were single. Regarding the influencing factors of life quality, 19.4% were related to low income, 15.7% were related to working conditions and motivation, 13.1% were related to workload and stress. Conclusion: Considering the influencing factors of nurses' life quality, it was possible to identify the need for changes in order to provide both better working conditions and income for the nurses from Cape Verde.
