Summary: | The study aims to compare the post-pandemic impacts of COVID-19 on the levels of physical activity, anxiety, stress and depression among high school students who attend School Physical Education classes and undergraduate students in Physical Education from public institutions in the municipality from Tucuruí/Pará. It is a cross-sectional field research, approaching the quantitative method, presenting in its aspects the explanatory character. For data analysis, BioStat 5.3 for Windows, where the student t test was used for independent samples. The following assessments were used: body mass index (BMI) for nutritional status, short version of the International Physical Assessment Questionnaire (IPAQ) and adaptation of the Depression, Anxiety and Stress Scale Short Form (DASS-21) based on behaviors and sensations experienced in the last seven days. As a result, higher-level Physical Education students showed a higher level of physical activity in the three classifications evaluated: light, moderate and vigorous both for days of the week and for minutes per week. High school students, on the other hand, showed better mental health when compared to higher education students in aspects related to the state of stress and depression.
