Summary:The authors in this paper talk about the use of state-owned agricultural land under the new Agricultural Land Law. The law gives new solutions on the method of renting agricultural land in state ownership. These solutions also caused some of the remarks that relate primarily to the leasing of state-owned agricultural land. At the end of the work some of the experiences of the countries in the region in the first place of Hungary, Slovenia and Croatia regarding the leasing of state-owned agricultural land are given.
