Summary: | To report a rare case of displaced talus fracture in paediatric population in which requires surgical intervention. A 9 year-old boy presented with ankle pain after a fall form bicycles. Ankle radiographs show displaced talar neck fracture. He underwent open reduction and internal fixation. The fracture united without complications. Talus fracture in paediatric is rare. Although it is rare, we should consider it as one of differential diagnosis in paediatric foot injuries. The aim for surgery is to get anatomical reduction and prevent complication. |
