Summary:The genera Stål, 1876 and Distant, 1902 (Hemiptera: Heteroptera: Pentatomidae: Pentatominae) were revised and redescribed with the description of Salini & Rabbani, , based on specimens from Assam and Meghalaya, northeastern states of India. The genus Breddin, 1909 is reinstated from , removed from the tribe Menidini, and redescribed. Consequently, the following new combinations are proposed: (Kirby, 1891), , (Zheng & Liu, 1987), , (Xiong & Liu, 1995), , and (Xiong & Liu, 1995), A lectotype is designated for (Distant, 1900a). Distant, 1918, and are redescribed based on both male and female genitalia and (Dallas, 1851) is redescribed based on female genitalia.
