Improving maintenance system for controlled asynchronous electric drives of electric locomotives based on their diagnosis

The article assesses the reliability of improving the maintenance of the control system of an asynchronous traction electric drive of an electric rolling stock with a rectifier-inverter converter based on power IGBT transistors, increasing the power factor in traction mode and regenerative braking.
