The genome sequence of a soldier beetle, Cantharis flavilabris Fallén, 1807

We present a genome assembly from an individual female (soldier beetle; Arthropoda; Insecta; Coleoptera; Cantharidae). The genome sequence is 348.3 megabases in span. Most of the assembly is scaffolded into 7 chromosomal pseudomolecules, including the X sex chromosome. The mitochondrial genome has a...

Description
Summary:We present a genome assembly from an individual female (soldier beetle; Arthropoda; Insecta; Coleoptera; Cantharidae). The genome sequence is 348.3 megabases in span. Most of the assembly is scaffolded into 7 chromosomal pseudomolecules, including the X sex chromosome. The mitochondrial genome has also been assembled and is 17.5 kilobases in length. Gene annotation of this assembly on Ensembl identified 22,711 protein coding genes.
