Summary: | According to Washington Consensus (1989), World Bank and international institutions, good governance means sound development management. The aim of this paper is to analyze the link between good governance and economic development in the case study of Island States. After the examination of the good governance in Island States, we use the principal component analysis in order to distinguish the institutional characteristics and the governance of the Island States in accordance with their level of development. |
