Summary:AimThis study aimed to identify factors influencing stay intent among Jordanian registered nurses, with a specific focus on the role of evidence-based practice (EBP) knowledge, attitudes, practices and barriers.MethodsA descriptive cross-sectional study of 311 nurses from 5 hospitals was conducted from January 2022 to June 2022. Participants completed data about stay intent and knowledge, attitude, practice and barriers of EBP. Data were analysed using SPSS program V.24.FindingsEBP attitudes, practices, knowledge and barriers significantly predicted stay intent, controlling for participants and workplace characteristics.
