Summary:We present a genome assembly from an individual (bittersweet; Eudicot; Magnoliopsida; Solanales; Solanaceae). The genome sequence is 946.3 megabases in span. Most of the assembly is scaffolded into 12 chromosomal pseudomolecules. The mitochondrial and plastid genomes have also been assembled, with lengths of 459.22 kilobases and 161.98 kilobases respectively.
