Diagnosis and management of a pelvic solitary fibrous tumor in a postmenopausal woman – a case report
• We report the case of a patient who was diagnosed with pelvic solitary fibrous tumor mimicking ovarian cancer. • The tumour was well defined, had plump spindled cells, and four mitotic figures per ten high-power fields. • Immunohistochemistry showed positive results for CD34 and STAT-6.
