Co-infection with M. tuberculosis and HIV (TB/HIV), especially in the HBCs of Sub-Saharan Africa and South Eastern Asia, multidrug-resistant (MDR) and extensively drug-resistant (XDR) TB in all regions, make control activities more complex and demanding. |
