Summary: | It is shown on the example of the torsion problem that in radially-layered cylinders with alternating rigid and soft layers there are poorly fading boundary-layer solutions. Elementary decisions corresponding to them can get deeply enough and change essentially a picture of the stress-strain condition far from end faces. It leads actually to infringement of Sen-Venan principle in its classical formulation. |
