Segmental intestinal dilatation associated with omphalocele

Highlights • Segmental intestinal dilatation (sid) is a rare congenital malformation that can be associated with minor omphalocele. • 16 cases of SID-omphalocele are reported in literature. • The treatment of SID is resection of the dilated segment and end-to-end anastomosis, sometimes stomas.
