Summary:Human development is defined as a process of growth of human capabilities - a person must live a long life, not get sick, be educated, enjoy political and economic freedoms, human rights, public respect for the individual. The purpose of the study is to study the patterns of human development. In the course of the study, the following methods were used: analysis, synthesis, induction, deduction, sociological survey. The ratio of the components of the human capital index was studied, tools and criteria for improving the quality of human capital were identified.
