Description
Summary:Different disciplines have questioned the dichotomy in modern science between the objective world and the subjective world. Authors such as Durand, Bachelard, Cassirer, Castoriadis, Zemelman, Wunenburger, Ibanez, among others, looked at the complexity of the modern rational subject and the historic Marxist subject, revaluing the symbolic and the construction of signications of reality as relevant issues to understand social dynamics. Their questioning has given rise to more complex views and research anchored in other horizons. This article emphasizes the importance of the imaginary for the social sciences, particularly in relation to the constitution of subjectivities and subjects, suggesting possible traces of the topic in popular educational practices.
