On the diversity of Magdelainella Jeannel (Cholevidae, Coleoptera) in Serbia

Three new species of cholevid beetles, Magdelainella zivojindjordjevici n. sp. (southwestern Serbia), Magdelainella mucanjensis n. sp. (Mt. Mucanj Serbia), and Magdelainella nikolateslai n. sp. (Mt. Goc, Serbia) are described and diagnosed. All taxonomically important features (including female genitalia) are illustrated. Magdelainella noesskei (Apfelbeck) (from Bosnia and Herzegovina) is given full specific status and is clearly separated from M. serbica (M?ller) (from Serbia). All new species are clearly distinct from other existing congeners. These forms are of Tertiary origin and age and represent both relicts and endemics inhabiting southwestern and central parts of Serbia, respectively. Tri nove vrste holevidnih tvrdokrilaca, Magdelainella zivojindjordjevici n. sp. (iz Srbije, planine Starog Vlaha), Magdelainella mucanjensis n. sp. (iz Srbije, planina Mucanj) i Magdelainella nikolateslai n. sp. (iz Srbije planina Goc) opisane su i dijagnostifikovane. Sva taksonomski vazna obelezja (ukljucujuci i zenske genitalije) su ilustrovana. Do sada sinonimizirani takson M. noesskei (Apfelbeck) (iz Bosne i Hercegovine) je dobio pun specijski status i jasno se razlikuje od vrste M. serbica (M?ller) (iz Srbije). Sve nove vrste se jasno razlikuju od svih postojecih vrsta u okviru roda. Ove forme su tercijarnog porekla i starosti i predstavljaju relikte i endemite centralnog i jugozapadnog dela Srbije.
