description This paper analyzes the impact of MOOC-based flipped classroom model on students’ creative thinking in art and design education in colleges and universities. Computer-aided design courses and flipped classroom methods focus on the relationship between flipped classroom and students’ creative thinking. Using Bayesian quantile regression model for statistical analysis, the experiment was carried out in two parallel classes in a university in H city, using flipped classroom and traditional teaching mode respectively. The results showed that the experimental class improved significantly more than the control class in creative thinking skills, especially in projecting the future and evaluating power. The conclusion shows that the flipped classroom model effectively improves students’ creative thinking ability, especially in association and compatibility.
