Summary: | We report a rare case of traumatic anterior dislocation in a patient with postoperative delirium following total knee arthroplasty. The patient was successfully treated by open reduction of the dislocation and polyethylene liner change. Recognition of risk factors for postoperative delirium is important for the prevention of this uncommon injury.
Identification of risk factors for postoperative delirium in patients planning to undergo total knee arthroplasty is important for perioperative management and prevention of fall‐related complications. |
