Summary:Oligodontia designates the congenital absence of six or more permanent teeth, excluding the third molars. Oligodontia of primary and permanent dentition is a rare observance. This case report describes the missing teeth in primary and permanent dentition of an 8 year old boy. Early diagnosis, and comprehensive treatment planning with good coordination and timing of the individual treatment phases are decisive for a successful treatment outcome.
