Summary:We propose a method allowing to assess the validity of decisions by determining how many sampling environment at the fire scene for identification of light oil products, which became the initiator of combustion. In cases of application of this method in forensic-ecological expertise provides the ability to increase the level of environmental safety. The mathematical apparatus, which forms the basis of this method, has been developed using elements of fuzzy set theory. Three new technical solution is sampling, providing the ability to perform multiple sampling samples of the medium light oil has been eveloped.
