Description
Summary:Covid-19 patients who require admission to an intensive care unit (ICU) have a higher risk of mortality. Several risk factors for severe Covid-19 infection have been identified, including cardiovascular risk factors. Therefore, the aim was to investigate the association between cardiovascular (CV) risk and major adverse cardiovascular events (MACE) and mortality of Covid-19 ARDS patients admitted to an ICU. A prospective cross-sectional study was conducted in a university hospital in Graz, Austria. Covid-19 patients who were admitted to an ICU with a paO2/fiO2 ratio
