Description
Summary:The aim of the paper is to identify the real condition of Hindu women in society according to their religion. A qualitative approach focusing case study has been conducted in Koil village under Bogura district of Bangladesh. An attempt has been made in this study to highlight on the nature of Hindu women’s rights to inheritance. Hindu women face various difficulties in their way of life since traditional values are deeply rooted in their life. This study reveals that Hindu women are deprived of their rights due to traditional social culture, ignorance, unawareness, and unemployment. The government should consider this issue with the view that they are a significant part of the population; hence a duty of care and the essential obligation must be there.
