The genome sequence of the whiskered bat, Myotis mystacinus (Kuhl, 1817)

We present a genome assembly from an individual male (whiskered bat; Chordata; Mammalia; Chiroptera; Vespertilionidae). The genome sequence has a total length of 2,081.20 megabases. Most of the assembly (97.52%) is scaffolded into 23 chromosomal pseudomolecules, including the X and Y sex chromosomes...

Summary:We present a genome assembly from an individual male (whiskered bat; Chordata; Mammalia; Chiroptera; Vespertilionidae). The genome sequence has a total length of 2,081.20 megabases. Most of the assembly (97.52%) is scaffolded into 23 chromosomal pseudomolecules, including the X and Y sex chromosomes. The mitochondrial genome has also been assembled and is 16.93 kilobases in length.
