Authors' reply: High-resolution manometry in swallow syncope-is there a role?
Literature suggests an association of several esophageal conditions with swallow syncope, namely, hiatal hernia, gastroesophageal reflux disease with esophagitis and peptic stricture, webs, and carcinoma.
