Summary:The patient had a history of caesarean section delivery for non-progression of labour with fetal distress 20 days back in a hospital near by her residence for which spinal anesthesia was given. Early goal directed therapy (EGDT) for septic shock (1) central venous pressure (CVP) 8-12 cm H2O, (2) mean arterial pressure (MAP) >65 mm Hg, (3) urine Output >0.5 ml/kg/hr, (4) central venous oxygen saturation (ScVO 2 ) >70% was initiated immediately.
